Casting Call

Cancervive is seeking women to interview who have survived gynecological cancers for a NCI funded multi-media program exploring sexuality after cancer.
 
The videotaped interviews will take place in Los Angeles. The interviews will be conducted by Cancervive Founder, Susan Keeney. We are interested in interviewing women of all ages, relationship status and ethnic backgrounds.

First ever international cancer film festival announces finalists

Geneva, Switzerland, 1 July 2008 –


Cancervive Founder, Susan Keeney film Emily’s Story chosen as finalist in The Reel Lives: The Cancer Chronicles film festival. Meet Susan in Geneva for the screening of her film and panel discussion.

The Reel Lives: the Cancer Chronicles film festival aims to raise awareness of the complex realities of cancer globally, to shatter taboos and myths surrounding the disease, and to challenge stigma. Reel Lives pays tribute to those whose lives have been impacted by cancer and provides them with the opportunity to tell their story to a global audience through the creative medium of film.

The festival will take place 28-30 August in Geneva. It is organized by the International Union Against Cancer (UICC), the leading international non-governmental organization dedicated exclusively to the global control of cancer.
